Don’t strive for perfection, don’t beat yourself up when you make a mistake.

It’s great that you want to do things well, but keep in mind that perfection isn’t realistic for anyone. Everyone on planet earth makes mistakes – it’s basic human nature. Why should you be any different? When you stuff up, don’t stress; just learn from it and move on.

Focus on the things you can change

There’s no point wasting all your energy thinking about things that you can’t change. Instead, have a think about some of the things that are in your power to control and see what you can do about those. An over tense and complicated life will lead to stress and land you into devastating state. You would find have no time to make positive changes and recover from stagnation in your life that help build self-esteem. Begin to declutter things off and simplify all areas of your life effectively.

Disconnect from the judgement of others

When you worry about what others will think of you, you never feel free to be yourself completely. Begin making choices and decisions based on what you want, not what you think others want for you. Stop living someone else’s life, make your own path rediscover your potential and re craft your strength and work on your flaws

Embrace failure as part of growth

Shift your thinking about perceived failures. See them as a necessary part of growth and learning process. Failures are evidence of efforts you have being trying no matter what, and you always learn something new adding experience in your personal transformation from them. Set small goals. Every day, set one or two small goals for yourself. At the end of a year, you will be surprised to achieve more than you ever expected. Study personal evolution. Become a student of personal growth and self-improvement for rest of your life. Read, listen, study, and learn about how to live with emotional intelligence and maturity. And consider personal evolution as a life long journey.

Stop over-thinking- Reclaim your integrity

If you are living outside of your integrity, you will feel disoriented, guilty, and drained. Define what integrity means for you, and make the necessary changes to live in accordance with it. Jump off the spinning wheel of repetitive negative thoughts that percolate constantly in your brain. Instead, take positive actions adapting small changes in your daily routines that is distracting you from your goals. Rewire your brain to live in the present moment. When our lives are full of chaos, it can be difficult to work out exactly how to go about it.

Eliminate time-wasting behaviours

Learn to manage anger. Anger is often a response to feelings of low self-worth and despair. Find appropriate outlets for your feelings. Express them to a supportive person before they turn to anger. Find productive and creative methods, life affirming ways to spend your time, rather than draining endless hours of Television, or playing online games that may rather be damaging to a certain extent. Adapt a healthy lifestyle opt walking around or cooking your favourite dishes once a while helping your partner.

Be willing to ask for help

Asking for guidance and seeking help isn’t a sign of weakness. It’s a sign of determination and courage. Asking for help means you are ready for positive change. Be honest with yourself and others. If you are living a lie, telling yourself or other stories about who you are and how you feel, you are entrapping yourself in unhappiness. You must be authentic and accepting to open your heart to self-love.

Stay focused on the present moment

It is the only reality. When the past and the future feel painful, focus on the task at hand and do it with your full engagement.

Write down your accomplishments, Read something inspirational

Think back through your life to all that you’ve accomplished as a youth and adult. List everything you have done that you feel proud of. Read books and articles that uplift your soul and purify your thoughts and make you feel positive. Stay away from negative television programs, web sites, advertising or anything that reinforces a poor self-image.

Recover self

Moving your body helps to improve your mood. End of story. Stretch yourself! Step outside of your comfort zone in some way. Stretch yourself to try something new, meet different people, or approach a situation in an unconventional way, keep yourself occupied in creative field like some painting gardening or writing. Every time you have a negative thought about yourself, challenge it with a positive one.

Try to identify the root cause of your low self-esteem.

Remember that building self-esteem requires time and practice.
