Before the pandemic I used to listen to podcasts on my drive in to work. When I pulled into my parking spot at the office I always felt encouraged and excited about taking my mental notes from the podcast with me throughout the day. I got into a rut professionally right after our company determined we were to work remotely full time. I just wasn’t feeling inspired, my ideas seemed dull and I wasn’t contributing as much as I would have liked to. One day I didn’t turn on the tv and listen to the news but instead tuned into one of my favorite podcasts. I listened to a great interview by one of my favorite podcast hostesses. I was having so much fun listening in on the conversation that I didn’t mind the growing to-do list coming into my inbox.

Now that I’ve been working from home every day, I make a point to take a walk and tune in to my podcasts or turn one on instead of the morning headlines. I’ve noticed I have my creative energy back and that I’m happier and feeling lighter.

Here are four inspirational podcasts packed full of great stories, actionable takeaways and some good laughs to get you started!
