How to Start your day as a Leader!

A few weeks ago I slipped up. The COVID-19 crisis rose rapidly and I fell into a panic. My mindset shifted and I felt insecure in myself and my business.

I didn’t feel like a leader. I felt insecure and totally out of my depth with a situation out of my control. Slowly I realised that there were still areas I could control and my mindset was one of them. I decided to be intentional and set myself up strong for the day.

It was something I have done with my clients as they wrote their books and share their personal story. They create a series of prompts to help them power through the process and reach their goals. I created a series of prompts to ensure I take control of how I feel and how I act.

The Journal Prompts:

  • How do I want to feel today?
  • What do I want to share today?
  • Who do I want to impact today?
  • How do I want to grow today?
  • What do I want to create today?

These prompts have helped me build up my confidence and work again with a clear focus. It doesn’t shut the doors on the situation but it gives me control of my actions and thoughts. This allows me to serve my clients and family better and come from a place of gratitude and security.

Taking care of yourself allows you to take care of others!

How will these prompts help you step up in the coming weeks and months?
