The human voice is an instrument we all play. It’s the most powerful sound in the world, probably, It’s the only one that can start a war or say “I love you”. Many people have this experience when they speak, people don’t listen to them. Why is that happen?

How can you make your speech special and powerful to change in the world? What I’d like to suggest, there are several habits that we need to move away. I called these seven deadly sins of speaking. This list of seven habits are exhaustive, but, I think, are pretty significant habits that we can all fall.

Stop Gossip

Speaking ill of somebody who isn’t present at that time is not an excellent habit, and we know perfectly well the person gossiping, a few minutes later, will be chatting about us.

Don’t Be Judgmental

Such people are all around us each, and we are pretty much familiar with such people, and it’s tough to listen to somebody if you know that you’re being judged and found wanting at the same time.

Stop Thinking Negative

You can fall into this, I became a negative past year, and I started thinking downsides of acts. Like one day my friend told me that it’s Wednesday and in the very next moment I replied OH another bad day appears in a week. This condition of negativity was just because I lost my money on Wednesdays and started thinking that every Wednesday mainly would be a bad day for me.

Complaining About the Things

Another form of negativity is complaining. Well, It is becoming our nature to complain every time. Despite being satisfied with our living, we always complain about weather, politics, against the govt, hospital system, about the education system, and transportation, etc. But don’t forget, complaining is viral misery. It is not spreading sunshine and light in the world.

Excuses

Some people have a blame thrower. They pass it to everybody else without taking responsibility for their actions, and again hard to listen to somebody who is being like that.

Taking the Shadow of Lies

Last but one is embroidery, exaggeration. It demeans our language, actually, sometimes. For example, If I see something that is awesome, what do I call it? And the, of course, this exaggeration becomes lying, and we don’t want to listen to people we know are lying to us.

Dogmatism

Lack of knowledge about facts of something. It mostly happens in our workplace when people lose their temperament while discussing political issues. Let suppose I’m unaware of the facts and happening around and giving the false logic to prove myself true, and the opponent is strong with logical facts and ground realities then I’ll stop listening to him. So, first of grab some knowledge about the issues of things and then indulge yourself in long debates. People will listen to you with interest.
