The majority of humanity are peaceful. There are fanatics and extremists in every corner of life; every race, every religion, every diet, every sport. Extremism is division. Judging another’s beliefs and advocating that your belief, religion or way of life is better than another’s is division. Division means we are not one humanity.
Anything extreme is unhealthy. Extremism is division, and division is unhealthy.
And at the moment religions and their extremists are on everyone’s minds. But there are fanatics and extremists in every corner of life; every race, every religion, every diet, every sport, every belief.
Whatever you are proclaiming, by virtue of you espousing one thing over another thing, valuing one side of something over the other side of something, is diminishing the perspectives and viewpoints of others.
Which reduces the validity or value of the other peoples view points and beliefs, and that can be perceived as harmful or judgmental to others.
There are many examples of extremism; extreme religious fanatics, extreme dieters, extreme ‘fitness ‘freaks’ who judge the more idle beings among us, extreme feminists who judge and hate men, etc etc.
How about we start accepting other people’s view points, beliefs, perspectives, cultures, way of doing things, and allow them to be, do, have, eat, believe, what they want, without feeling the need to judge them, impose our beliefs on them, or tell them they need to do it our way ‘because it’s better’.
Religion as a whole concept is one of the most divisive legacy structures that exist on Earth today. Many believe that Religion is the biggest evil on the planet because it divides. It divides people into different groups, different belief structures, and it causes judgement and separation, not acceptance.
No religion is any better than any other. No god is or should be better than any others. There are extremists in the Christianity and Catholic faiths just as there are extremists in the Muslim religion.
So let’s abolish religion you might say. It’s the 21st century! Down with religion! OK hold up; it’s not that simple. Of course it’s not. From a philosophy stand point, the structure is in place because it exists within us; these ‘legacy structures’ like governments and religion are in place because we need them for our growth and the development of our consciousness. Believe what you will about this.
I think, eventually, hopefully, we will come into balance. But the issue, while we go through this change period, is that we are trying hard to get beyond these issues and get acceptance, or be heard, and we push and we try to get our message across and change things. With the BEST intents of course.
However the secret of life is don’t try. The more you try the more it doesn’t work; the more we say ‘we are not empowered’ ‘we need equality’ ‘we have a problem we need to fix’ means it’s NOT happening.
It’s about humanity having no expectation of reaching the finish line or creating a better place with ultimate peace and equality and pushing, trying, or fighting for it, or anything like that.
We need to just exist as ourselves. Women, exist as women, become empowered in yourself, and don’t try to be men. People; if you believe something, identify as something, or practice something, just do it. Don’t impose it on others and don’t judge them for not doing it. Focus on yourself and your own mind set, beliefs, and stop looking outside yourself constantly and giving others shit or trying to fix everything but yourself. Accept everyone and their journey. Accept others cultures and beliefs.
Love your soul. Love your being. Love your life. Enjoy the experience. When you accept everything and have no reaction to anything, you start to become truly empowered.
