recently i have been doing some work
with an incredibly beautiful soul, Sarah McCrum
her book is called: Love Money, Money Loves You
and yesterday she reintroduced me to something
i was given in a reading with Sonia Choquette years ago.

I went to Sonia around the fact that i was carrying
guilt and shame for doing something
that hurt someone i loved dearly.

sonia listened and then asked me,
“are you a different person now because of all of this?”
and i answered yes, of course.

Sonia then asked me,
“can you imagine the possibility
that the person you loved so dearly, loved you so much
that they went through all the pain and suffering
of this situation becasue they knew
that it was what you needed to become who you are now.”

all guilt, all shame, all self loathing vanished
in the moment of feeling so much unconditional love
from the person i thought i had hurt so badly.

wow.

that moment happened again yesterday
when Sarah McCrum showed me this same possibility
around why my parents left this world when i was just a boy.

wow.

can you see how who you have become now
might be the result of something that seemed horrible
and that everyone involved in this horrible situation
was involved becasue they loved you so much
that they would do whatever it took in this lifetime
to get you to be the person you are now.

what a beautiful way to see life
and the many things that happen to us.

i am still integrating this
glimpse of unconditional love.
