Writing has become such a part of who I am. Whenever I go days without it I feel incomplete. I’ve been crazy busy with a business course I’m taking and haven’t quite worked out my time management. I’m determined to figure it out, though.

You see whenever you have something that you’re passionate about, you find a way to make time for it. Essentially, writing is something that I am recognizing as a non-negotiable. Meaning that it is something that is absolutely necessary for me to make time for, no matter how busy I am.

In seeing it as a non-negotiable, it’s imperative that I always make it a priority and guard my writing time as sacred. It’s in writing that I am able to process my thoughts and gain clarity on things. It’s through writing that I am able to create shared experiences.

There aren’t many times in my life outside of high intensity exercise that I am able to experience flow. By flow, I mean being so focused on a task that I completely lose track of time and allow myself to be fully present in the moment.

Flow is something that many of us can have and probably already experience often.

How do you experience flow? How you answer that question just may be the secret to recognizing a passion in your life.
