16th century Germans were on to something when they coined the phrase: “der Apfel fellt nicht gerne
weit vom Baume,” “the apple does not usually fall far from the tree.”
Following in her mother, Simona Fusco’s footsteps, The Model, Actor, Producer, Entrepreneur, and
Philanthropist, Amber at the age of 19 got her mother’s entrepreneurial gene and is on the verge of
launching her own bikini line, Ember.
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, lets start at the beginning. Amber is the daughter of “Starmaker”
and Hollywood legend, the late Jay Bernstein, who was responsible for discovering and managing some
of the biggest icons in the entertainment business — from Farrah Fawcett, Suzanne Somers, Linda
Evans, Sammy Davis Jr, Lee Majors, Michael Landon and Donald Sutherland, to name a few.
Amber was approached at the young age of 15 by agents who saw something special she had to offer
and gave her a chance, but her priority was to finish high school and she did a year later at only 16 year
of age. Since then Amber has graced the covers of L’Officiel Magazine, Image & Style Magazine, Icon
Magazine and has been a two-time Maxim magazine cover girl. GQ. Swimsuit Illustrated featured her as
their “Lovely Lady of the Day” and described as “A talented model and entrepreneur.”
As an actress, she just completed filming This Is Our Christmas, where she plays Lia, a spoiled Beverly
Hills rich girl which aired on UPTV channel in December 2018. However, not content with just working in
front of the camera, Amber founded Ember, a hip bikini label geared towards teenagers and young
adults. Her official launch will be this coming summer and she gets flooded on a weekly basis from
young up and coming models vying to wear her hip bikinis.
On her downtime, when she isn’t modeling and studying towards her Bachelor of Science degree in
Business, she volunteers for a cancer organization her mother founded: The Mgaria Gruber Foundation, a
non-profit created to provide educational tools to help parents, children and loved ones affected by terminal illness.
