Ann-Kathrin’s career skyrocketed in 2013, after her first international wedding in Singapore. She was hired to shoot a Chinese-French wedding, that would become the cornerstone for her unique business as a global wedding and lifestyle photographer. Ann-Kathrin’s clients flew her halfway around the world to shoot this wedding, which involved multiple cultural ceremonies in a tropical background.
Word spread fast after that: the wedding and its photography gained her instant fame and recognition throughout Europe and beyond. Ann-Kathrin has carved out a niche field and trailblazed ahead of the competition, even speaking at the world’s largest conference in for photographers held annually in Las Vegas, WPPI – Wedding and Portrait Photography International. That same year, in 2017, Ann-Kathrin was hired to work for the prestigious jewelry brand, Pandora, to shoot their line of bridal jewelry.
Ann-Kathrin explains how she believes she has earned this massive international acclaim at such a young age, describing her preference for “documentary style” photography. “I love that I am connected to my subject with no distraction like a screen on the back of my camera.” She says, “I am inspired by the way the film images look -incredibly flattering yet vibrant and full of life – and I think this inspires my clients as well.”
