Laura Cococcia is a contributing writer for Thrive Global, focusing on education, culture and social impact. During her career, she has worked in global roles across industries including media, technology, nonprofit and financial services. Laura serves on the board of directors of the New York Writers Coalition and has volunteered for numerous organizations, including the Afghan Women’s Writing Project, Girls Write Now, and Special Olympics.
