There’s something absolutely and positively extraordinary about a made-up mind. We see its effect everyday in life, business, family and relationships.
There came a point in my life about 4 years ago where I knew I was a creator. I now have the power to create my world through my directed thoughts without sabotaging it with doubt. However, merely knowing this fact alone was not enough. To attain true wisdom we eventually learn that application must be integrated with theory. We must practice ‘the thing’ we believe we already know. Below are 11 home truths to get us walking the path to the best version of ourselves.
Let’s begin;
- When we realise the person in front of us is expressing the way they feel about themselves more than the situation or person they’re describing, we cease to react as animatedly to it. (And we simultaneously receive an insight into their state of mind).
- If we can shift our eyes, ears and minds to positivity everyday, we will see more of it appear in our daily life. This is a proven and well-documented fact. Like attracts like.
- Once we make up our minds to do something out of the bounds of practicality and set our minds to the completion of it, Universal forces will conspire and assist to make it happen.
- The way we feel about ourselves at this very second is exactly what life is giving back at us. Improve your surroundings, Improve your circle of influence, Improve your mind and you will inevitably improve your life.
- If you want to see things change. Be that change. The world will catch up and admire you in the process.
- Never put a limit on your possibilities. If you can’t figure out the ‘how’ from here, move forward with the knowledge you know. The rest will figure itself out as you go along. (Remember driving your car at night – you can’t see the whole road).
- Believe you can and you can. It’s a simple philosophy and the most powerful weapon in your arsenal for success.
- Your tribe creates your vibe. Choose your travelling companions wisely.
- Don’t compare yourself to anyone, be the best version of yourself you can be.
- Niche your offer, don’t try and be everything to everyone. Be the authority on a particular subject or industry. Be the expert in that field.
- Don’t be afraid to repel anyone who doesn’t see value in you.
Number 11 was my latest learning curve. As a people pleaser in a past life, I’ve learned that some people are just not going to see you the way you want them to. Embrace this, focus on your strengths and your believers will build other believers for you. Repel the masses with gusto and focus on your truest followers and fans.
