You become aware of a situation about someone you may or may not know from anywhere, yet all affected stay in your mind. You visualize how things could be for them, you can feel their pulse , you probably even go through their anxieties, and you pray and hope for things to get better . You can’t stop thinking of life as it is for them.

Empathy!

Empathy is the highest form of intelligence. It’s not an emotion . When you empathize, you are applying the sum total of all behavior, knowledge,  beliefs , your experiences, and their interpretation of it blended with the residual emotions they leave.

It’s not a response or a reaction.

It’s a whole lot of perception, a whole lot of comprehension ,understanding, and perspective building around the heart , head, life and its consequences being faced by someone.

It’s a very cognitive form of attachment and is quite literally at the heart of your head.
