KR: Whole life- can’t say. The past year- The Moth, The Corrections, The Story of Edgar Sawtelle, The Theory of Everything, Small Great Things.
TG: Tell us about your relationship with your phone. Does it sleep with you?
KR: I don’t have a relationship with my phone. It’s a phone. No it does not sleep with me. If I’m lucky I remember to plug it in.
TG: How do you deal with email?
KR: I try to answer email only twice a day and refuse to answer group emails.
TG: You unexpectedly find 15 minutes in your day, what do you do with it?
KR: Walk my dog.
TG: When was the last time you felt burned out and why?
KR: Residency -2000.
TG: When was the last time you felt you failed and how did you overcome it?
KR: When my mother-in-law died. Still trying.
