Today, I will be talking about “FAMS” strategy of success. I think 95% of time there is only one reason behind your failure and this is your mindset. And after speaking and dealing with a lot of clients and after answering their questions, I have found these 4 elements are one of the main controllers of your success.

My “Why”?

Fail Fast: Failing is important. If you have never failed in life, you have never learned enough. The best learning comes from failure. The sheer emotionality of it drives the lessons home in a way, that can’t be replicated by a textbook or lecture. At the same time, you need to shake off those emotions, so you can absorb the learning and try again, only this time with the benefit of the wisdom that comes from a painful experience. It’s like the soccer player who has missed the penalty shot and then needs to clear his mind before the next time he’s inside the D box again to score a goal.

Ask for Help: In my 8 years of mentorship career, I have seen, some of the best business ideas never reach paper because the mentee lack of encouragement or is too embarrassed to ask. Do you remember, first time you have learned to ride a bicycle or wanted to learn how to drive? Even, when the first time you have asked a girl for your first date? I am sure, you have asked someone in your life for help or advice. So, my question is, why you have stopped asking questions or for help when you are taking one of the biggest decision of your life to start a business or change your career? My father, a businessman himself, gave me this advice when I first started out as an entrepreneur “Never be afraid of embarrassing yourself or saying you don’t know or understand something”. I now constantly ask questions and find sharing and learning is the best way to earning! Remember, getting advice and sharing ideas is the perfect recipe for any successful business.

Shifts your Mindset: If you want to be a successful business owner or successful in life, the first thing you need to do is, “shifts your mindset from being interested to being committed and take massive action plan”. If you want to grow and want to be successful, you need to shift your mindset from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset. A fixed mindset keeps you rooted in fear and self-doubt. It also is very difficult to see the opportunities that life throws at you when you are in a fixed mindset.

The growth mindset is completely opposite. When you are in a growth mindset, all challenges that present themselves are viewed as an opportunity for growth. Even though they may seem difficult or hard, challenges are what keeps us moving forward. Challenges also allow us to explore new depths of our potential and strength.

My “Why”: If you’ve ever spent time around kids, you’ve been subjected to a barrage of the most classic of childhood queries: “Why?” It is very important to find your “Why”. Why you want to be an entrepreneur, why you want to be successful? What is success for you? Answering all these questions should be the first and most priority, even before you start thinking about a business idea. When your enthusiasm is palpable, people want a ticket on your happy train. The key to harnessing that passion is understanding your “why.” Once you find your why, you then create your own story. Your story is also your link to your core principles. If you set out to make a product with all-natural ingredients, keep that in mind as your business begins to grow.

So, your why is your story. And that’s the story you need to share with your customers. You deserve a life you love, so get going and dream on. Once you start living your dream life, that is called “SUCCESS”.
