The FDA has designated MDMA as ‘breakthrough therapy’ for PTSD.

This makes me happy for 2 reasons:

1. People suffering from PTSD now have a new way of therapy and I sincerely hope it will help each and every single one of them

2. This adds to the continued dialogue people are having about the use of hallucinogens or psychedelics.

MDMA was the first psychedelic I took about 5.5 years ago.

And, it was amazing.

I was in love with everyone. And in that love, I cared about every single one of the people in that busy park.

Not even for a second did I think about what I wanted or needed.

There was only love for my fellow (wo)men.

Then, about a year ago I took LSD. This, again, was a beautiful experience.

And, again, in that experience, I just wanted everyone to feel alright.
Apart from the ‘cool stuff’ like rippling (floor starts to look like waves), fading and other hallucinations, there was, again, only love.

Now, I’m not saying that bad trips don’t exist. I’m fortunate enough to never have experienced one.

But, the general experience I have had and hear other people having is that, while tripping, there is no concept of Self.

There’s only Them.
There’s only Love.

It’s my hope that, as people become more aware of the stigmas and blatant lies they’ve been told about drugs and psychedelics, and as the open-minded people age up and start to take positions of authority (community, family, politics, …) that more and more people will get in touch with psychedelics in a safe and smart way..

So we can usher in an Age of Love.

Much love amigos.
