I have great news for busy mums like myself: getting a sexy body is simple.
I’m serious.
I used to be overweight, unhealthy and miserable, but I changed all that by changing my diet and lifestyle. Now, I’m a mum to a beautiful two-year-old, a plant-based author and speaker, and a successful business owner—and I’ve never felt sexier!
I want to empower other mums to achieve the health and body of their dreams. These four simple steps require minimal effort, but give maximum results.
Ready?
1. Hydrate
Drink as much water as you can—up to four liters per day. I drink a liter of water first thing in the morning and immediately feel refreshed, healthy and ready to start my day.
Other women like to start off with homemade vitamin water, which is delicious and easy to make: Soak some orange or lemon slices in water overnight, along with a bit of mint and basil. Make sure the jar or container is covered. In the morning, your water will be cold, tasty, and ready to drink.
Either way, sufficient hydration is key if you want to keep your system clean and happy.
2. Eliminate
I know no one likes to talk about it, but if you want a flat stomach and sexy body, you need to make sure your bowel movements are regular. This ensures that you’re flushing out your system fully and eliminating toxins that will otherwise keep you bloated and overweight. Having trouble? Go crazy on dark, leafy greens and other fiber-rich foods and see what happens.
3. Eat your fruit and veg
How much? As much as you want! There is no such thing as too much fruit. Fruits and vegetables, especially when raw, are full of the natural sugars (energy) and fiber your body needs to thrive.
4. Cut the meat, dairy, and eggs
You want the body of your dreams? This is the easiest way to get it. Animal products like meat, dairy, and eggs are full of hormones and lacking in the fiber department, so they sit around in your stomach making you feel and look heavier. Your body converts these foods into fat more easily, too, leading to weight gain. Time for them to go.
If you want more info on this, I highly recommend reading The China Study or watching Forks over Knives.
Bonus Tip: Eat Early
When you eat late, you usually end up eating more than you would have during the day. Then you go to sleep, and that food just sits in your stomach, digesting poorly. Ideally, you should consume most of your food when the sun is up and your body is still active. Then let your body rest—digestion included—when the sun goes down.
You deserve to thrive in the body of your dreams. So what are you waiting for?
