Drip Creationz, a multi-million-dollar company is the premium name which provides the best footwear, apparel and fashion accessories. Founded by Ilene Arellano, Frankie Quiroz and Brian Porter, the e-commerce fashion company was incorporated in 2017 and is headquartered in Riverside, California. With more than 50,000 happy customers, the brand has built a fanbase of more than 700,000 followers on Instagram. The massive success behind the brand not only goes to its quality products but its collaboration with top social media influencers including Logan Paul, Jake Paul, Sommer Ray, Tana Mongeau among others. In an exclusive conversation with Thrive Global, Frankie candidly spoke about the inception of the brand and how Drip Creationz is different from other fashion labels.

Q: What was the thought behind starting Drip Creationz? How did it happen? 

A: I believe that it was something we always wanted to do. We always wanted to start a shoe company that works around the industry of fashion and let us be a bigger part of it. We are fashion designers and creators, so it was just a natural way for us to participate in the system basically. We want to help design things that people will like and love.

Q: Is there any significance behind the name Drip Creationz? 

A: The name is meant to be simple, clean, and relevant to streetwear. It ties all to our shoes and how they are made naturally.

Q: How is your brand different from other apparel brands? 

A: We believe in a co-participating system between our team and our followers on social media. Many fashion brands have tons of fans today, but not many listen to their feedback. For us, it is really important to co-design with our followers as well. They are the ones that make it happen. If they are satisfied, then we know we did a great job.

Q: How do you tackle competition? 

A: We don’t believe that it is good to directly compete with others. In a way, we keep track of it, but we just try to be different to not compete with them. At the end of the day, we are all in fashion and we try to build a relationship with competitors as we believe that both companies can pursue what they are meant to do without one of them hurting the other.

Q: What are your future plans for Drip Creationz? 

A: We believe in growth rather than strict plans. We want to keep growing our social media base. The goal is to be the number 1 seller in the industry and expand our business to be a 9-figure business. 

Q: What has been the biggest achievement of your brand?

A: We had massive social media growth. We went from 600,000 followers to 700,000 in less than a month. This massive growth is important and later translated into sales, more influencers, better partnerships and simply better business. 

Q: How has social media helped to boost the popularity of your brand? 

A: Social media has been so important for our brand. I don’t think we would have a brand like this without social media. Our followers interact with us daily. They can also give you feedback through social media, so that is another way that we built our business. Social media can grow your business or break it. The best tool to grow your brand is keeping people aware of the brand which one reach only through social media.
