Did you see my first post with hacks for busy entrepreneurs? Here are a few more hacks that will allow you to make the most of your time as an entrepreneur.

Say “No” More Often

Sometimes as an entrepreneur, you feel like you should do everything. You want to be at all the networking events and representing your business everywhere that you can. This becomes a problem when you say yes to so many things that you no longer have enough time to complete the tasks that grow your business. It can also lead to burnout.

As an entrepreneur, you must guard your time. That will probably mean saying “no” more often than you would like to. There simply isn’t enough time to do everything.

Prioritize Your To-Do List

An entrepreneur’s to-do list can be a mile long. The best way to tackle lengthy to-do lists is to prioritize tasks. You can use a color-coding system, or you can use the alphabet. For example, you can mark the most important tasks of your day with the letter “A,” the second most important tasks with a “B” and so on.

When your to-do list is prioritized, you’ll also know which task to conquer next and you’ll ensure that the most important work always gets done.

Focus More and Multitask Less

Multitasking is tempting when you have a lot to do. Studies are finding, however, that we are not natural multitaskers and do poor work when we try to do too many things at once. You’re better off tackling one task at a time, even if it feels less efficient. You’ll save yourself time because you’ll do better work the first time and avoid the need to redo work later.

If you feel like you can’t afford to focus on one task at a time, you may need to get creative. One solution is to delegate tasks that others can do and focus on the ones that only you can do.

Take Breaks Throughout Your Work Day

Entrepreneurs are hard workers and they often don’t allow themselves the proper amount of rest. It’s critical, though, that you allow yourself to have breaks throughout your day, so you can remain sharp and continue to perform at the highest level possible.

If you think you don’t have enough time to take breaks, think again! You’ll actually get more donewhen you allow your brain a chance to rest for a few minutes throughout your day.
