Thrive Global and The Quaker Oats Company present The Fuel List—20 people changing the way we fuel our minds and bodies every day. These are the leaders making an impact in the worlds of sleep, nutrition, movement and mindfulness right now.

It’s a common misconception that food that tastes good and food that does your body good can’t be one and the same. Ellie Krieger puts that myth to rest. As a chef and registered dietician nutritionist, Krieger shows that you can cook healthy food that also tastes delicious through her Food Network show Healthy Appetite, her public television series Ellie’s Real Good Food and her James Beard Award-winning cookbook, You Have it Made: Delicious Healthy Do-Ahead Meals.  She earned her B.A. in Clinical Nutrition from Cornell University and her Master’s in Nutrition from Columbia University. Her work is proof that you don’t have to sacrifice deliciousness in order to eat food that benefits your well-being.

“Food can be packed with nutrition, but if it doesn’t have taste appeal then all that goodness goes to waste. Ellie brilliantly honors the inherent nourishment in food while teaching people how to transform good-for-you ingredients into delicious dishes that delight the palette while fueling the body.” — Sadira Furlow, Senior Marketing Director of Consumer Engagement, PepsiCo North America Nutrition
