To face it all and come back from it stronger than ever is rarely seen among business owners. Some might choose to jump ships and take a different course of action and others might simply give up and leave it all. Sam Bakhtiar, on the other hand, has taken every setback in his life as a lesson learned and as a pathway to reach his goals. Through his discipline and willingness to push himself, Bakhtiar is established as one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the fitness industry.
Sam Bakhtiar immigrated from Iran to the United States when he was just 11 years old in search for better life opportunities. As a refugee of war and raised by a single mother, Bakhtiar faced a number of hardships at a young age. From not speaking the language to feeling like an outcast from his physical appearance, Sam had a difficult time fitting in with his homogenous community. It was from these constant reminders of feeling left out that he used higher education as the means to better himself and his family. Bakhtiar obtained his Masters in Life Science Nutrition from Pennsylvania State University and a Doctorate in Chiropractic Practice from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (LACC).
Finding a Path in Fitness
At an early age, Bakhtiar loved to play soccer. But when he found out that the community he lived in didn’t have such sport, he tried out for their local basketball team. Upon being cut from the team, due to his athletic inabilities, Sam was pushed to work hard in hopes to make it the following year by going to the local boys club. It was from attending the local boys club that Bakhtiar became fascinated by the individuals training at the gym and the transformation their bodies were having. He became incredibly involved with fitness and body transformation. So much was his involvement that he is known as a former bodybuilder and the only bodybuilder in history to win a first place title in every weight class.
Knowing that fitness was his passion, Bakhtiar started his own personal training company soon after graduating Chiropractic School. Through his work ethic and love for fitness, he has found a path that has led him to an astonishing amount of success. Sam Bakhtiar serves as the CEO of a franchise of over 100 gym locations in the US and Mexico and is the Co-Founder of the Camp Transformation Centers. Additionally, Bakhtiar is the founder of One Percent Nutrition, which happens to be one of the fastest growing nutrition supplement companies in the US. He has not only transformed himself into the athlete he is but he has helped transform thousands of lives through his business model.
Believing is Seeing Results
Sam has been able to take his company and gym empire to the next level because he believes in his products and in the service he sells. Bakhtiar is transforming lives and is pushing others to be the best version of themselves. He doesn’t just sell, he believes and is passionate in what he is selling. He differentiates his success through the unique selling proposition (USP). He knows his service is unique because it continues to evolve and he has a reason as to why he works in the fitness industry. Bakhtiar embraces the stories of others because he too, has gone through the transformation. He has gone from being a small scrawny kid to a disciplined athlete.
As he has developed an outstanding reputation among his peers in the fitness industry, he has also taken the time to learn from his struggles. While being the only minority at his school growing up and often feeling outcasted, he took the hits of life as ways to move forward. He was not been taken back by the challenges, instead, he has reached unmatchable success. He believed in his business and in the results that came with it. Sam saw and he conquered.
Growing Means Surrounding Yourself With It
For Bakhtiar, to achieve the growth he’s had has been because of who he surrounds himself. He believes that choosing your business partners wisely and hiring the right people will not only generate growth but it will multiply success. Bakhtiar believes in the power of teamwork by seeing a similar vision and working hard towards it. Sam would not be standing as the CEO and Founder he is today if not for the people who share his passion and love for fitness. Through his diligent hiring process and protocols, Bakhtiar has built so much more than a brand empire. He has built growth and created a space where success is just the start.
