Sleep is so important to us. In my Health Psychology class in college, my professor told us that you are supposed to get about 7-8 hours of sleep a day. I found that to be interesting since I get more than that. If you don’t eat anything then you will not sleep. Sleep is so important for our mind and bodies. It’s so important to get enough sleep to fight infections and viruses. If you feel like you have a cold or another virus then it’s important to sleep it off. If you had surgery and you have pain then it is good to sleep it off. Sleep is also good if you have a headache. Just putting your head on the pillow when you have a headache will make it go away. If you take a nap at like 2 or 3 pm, then you will not go to sleep at night. That has happened to me a lot of times where I go take a nap at 3 pm and at night I don’t sleep. Having a good soft, silk pillow and be comfy will make you sleep better. It’s best to go to bed hot so that you can get a good night’s sleep. It’s best to go to bed at the same time every night. All in all, sleep is important for us.
