Thrive Global and The Quaker Oats Company present The Fuel List—20 people changing the way we fuel our minds and bodies every day. These are the leaders making an impact in the worlds of sleep, nutrition, movement and mindfulness right now.

Stacey Griffith is something of a legend among SoulCycle devotees, but her impact extends beyond her unique teaching style. She’s helped thousands of people (including celebrities like Deepak Chopra, Brooke Shields and Molly Sims) find a form of movement that works for them and keeps them active. Griffith, a Senior Master Instructor at SoulCycle, is known for blending dance, music and athleticism and encouraging people in her classes to use physical challenges as a way to connect with their mental, emotional and spiritual strength. On top of her day job, Griffith is the author of the book Two Turns From Zero, chronicling her personal story of overcoming struggles with substance abuse to find success. She’s also a board member at Change For Kids, an organization that works with underprivileged New York City public schools to help provide arts, classroom and healthy living support to kids in need.

“At a time when it’s all too easy to mistakenly believe digital connection is as powerful as real, human connection, Griffith has demonstrated the power of showing up for the real thing. Thanks to her honesty and vulnerability, Griffith’s classes have become famous for their feeling of communitywhether you’re a first time rider or a long-time veteran. She’s made movement something people crave for reasons far beyond the physical benefits.” — Callie Schweitzer, Chief Content Officer at Thrive Global
