At this time, and for the foreseeable future, building a brand will be absolutely crucial to your overall success and wellbeing in 2019 and years after. You’ve probably heard this over and over, but what does it truly mean? Well, building a brand is very simple. It is just leveraging social media to portray yourself and what you stand for. It also gives you a platform to share your gifts and passions with the world on an easily accessible medium.
Why is building a brand so crucial? Well sure, everyone IS doing it, so why should you? It is because you not only need to stay relevant, but you also have an incredible opportunity here to create a dream lifestyle in a simple and effective way. You should be building a personal brand because even though everyone is doing it, everyone is doing it in their own unique way, so don’t call me a hypocrite just yet.
How do I build a brand? Where do I even start? What goes into building my own brand? Yea, everyone has these questions. But it is really a lot simpler than you might imagine. As one of our past podcast guests told us, it takes ZERO effort to be yourself. From the legend himself, Steve Sims, that is.
So, when building a brand, there are really only 3 steps. The first step is to have accounts on all the social platforms, or at least the ones we will discuss later in this chapter. The next step is to just be yourself! And the final step, of course, is to stay consistent. That is it, that is all it takes to build a brand in 2019! So, don’t wait, get started on building your brand today.
