Everyone keeps telling FREELANCING IS THE WAY FOR YOU TO EARN A LOT OF MONEY AT THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME. Here’s the fact.

Yes, when you’re transitioning in this journey, you feel excited. You already see other people that it’s possible to earn more at home than in the corporate job.

You are excited because of money and what others are doing.

Now, you do the profile, prepare the cover letter, and submit application to the clients through these job platforms such as Upwork, Hubstaff Talent, onlinejobs.ph, etc.

As a result of doing this process, no one is interested in hiring you, and the worst is, when you landed in the interview, the client not decided to hire you.

You feel yourself distracted because of other’s journey and also your mindset is not fixed because of the way how your family molded you about money.

What is missing why is this happening for you over and over again?

The skills and the services that you can offer to the client.

Stop boasting yourself that you already knew a lot of skills to serve your client.

Having to say that “Tell me what I can do for this project. I can serve you everything that depends on your needs.”  This statement would not make your client impressed.

Every client is very specific for their needs.

You have two options for you to learn more skills in an online world.

First option is learning by yourself where you can do the research and implement the skills on Google and YouTube.

With this approach, your success path would take longer and information overload makes you confused.

Second option is investing in your coach or mentor where you can follow the step by step curriculum for you to know the foundation about freelancing, learn about the online jobs skills, how to create the profile, how to create the cover letter, how to do the online jobs application, how to do the interview, and your responsibilities when you get hired.

With this approach, your success path would be faster and you are guided by the coach and the like minded community people to help you in your journey.

Even you decided to do the second option, I observed that it is still not enough for you as you just stuck on the plateau hourly rate, and you have fear and anxious on yourself once the contract of the project ended.

This is still not enough for you to stay in this freelancing journey alone and trade your time for money to make your meet ends.

Don’t settle on this for a long time.

You still need to invest on new learnings every day once you resigned in the corporate job someday.

You simply apply 80% of doing freelancing tasks and building your business if you have enough knowledge on what business that you are going to pursue and 20% of learning new things that you can do such as reading books, listening to podcasts, read the articles that resonate to your interest, etc.

Stop comparing yourself to others.

You need to learn how to build and scale the right system for your business for you to earn passive income.
