Work stress is one of the main problems in the country, in fact, for some years, Mexico ranks first worldwide in this condition, surpassing countries like China and the United States. The WHO states that the main reason is the imbalance between the demands and pressures that an individual faces and their knowledge and capacities.

When stress levels are high, an increase in heart rate and blood pressure can occur. In addition, there is muscle tension and, in some cases, excessive sweating. On the other hand, diarrhea, constipation, headaches, and stomach upset can also occur.


Emotions always play an important role in all areas of life, when stress increases, fear, irritability, sadness, feelings of depression, anxiety, anger and decreased motivation can appear.


Poor memory and inattention are very common symptoms when there is chronic stress. However, there are other reactions that you should pay attention to, such as reduced field of perception, unproductive thoughts, difficulty in solving problems, and learning problems.


With the intention of solving the above feelings, people with chronic stress can increase the consumption of alcohol, tobacco or drugs and even seek other types of behaviors, usually risky, to reduce their discomfort.
