When you write down your goals you allow the vision of your dreams to become a reality. When you tell people about them you are held more accountable. Goals can transform your life in ways you never thought possible.

  1. Create the habits that will enable you to accomplish your goals.
  2. Don’t settle for the lazy choice, the comfortable choice or the choice that doesn’t align with your true morals and values.
  3. Get more specific with your action steps.
  4. Enjoy the process, failure is to be expected. If you are struggling one week just keep going. Consistency is key.
  5. Take time to reflect and celebrate each step towards accomplishing your bigger goal.
  6. Remember why. Why you started, why you need to keep going and think about what life will look like once you have accomplished your goals.
  7. Emulate the people who have similar goals and habits and those who have achieved the goals you have set for yourself.
  8. Find a team, friend, partner to hold you accountable (you are the average of the five people you hang out with).
  9. Remember these are your goals and this is about you. There is flexibility in goal setting.
  10. Lastly, you are always doing better than you think you are.
