1. Ms. Jordan, who inspired you to become a published author and why?
Who inspired me to become a published author? I suppose my friend and talented graphic designer Jonathan Fong. He took a Learning Annex workshop I gave on Get on TV! while he was working as an advertising executive at a then large (now — defunct), advertising agency. He walked up to me after class and was the first to say that I should write a book.
I was repeating the same things, that I eventually wrote about if my first book, over and over to folks who were asking me how to get on TV!
2. Ms. Jordan, you have help many to become publish authors through TV Guestpert Publishing/Publisher. One of your most successful book “GET ON TV” was foreword by Donnie Osmond , what is your #1 tip you have for authors that want to be on TV?
My #1 tip is to have tape/video that is television relevant, not necessarily social media relevant. If you have never been on TV before then create the tape.
3. Ms. Jordan, tell us about how your success daily routine looks like in an ordinary day as a writer and publisher from the moment you wake up in the morning all the way before going to bed. How many hours you sleep a day?
I sleep a lot. I’m up between 4:45am — 5:30am. I feed my dogs and cats. Pray. Meditate. Empty dishwasher. Make Bed. Write a gratitude list. Walk Dogs. Personal exercise. I start work to handle any East Coast inquiries. Work looks a little different each day which is what I enjoy about it. My evenings are also as flexible and interesting as my days. If I’m not out at an event, I wind down early. No electronics and I’m in bed by 9pm. One might say that is quite boring, but I really love

Simultaneously, as Executive Producer, Jacquie launched the copy-cat formula of Shootout for the TVGuide Channel, Square-Off with a focus on the television industry hosted by Andy Wallenstein and Brian Lowry of Variety. Jacquie vetted the best the industry had to offer — from NBC head Ben Silverman, Shonda Rhimes to known television stars like Jon Cryer and Mark Harmon.
