Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance

If I say positive affirmations ten times a day in the mirror, more good will come my way, right? Wrong.

I wish the above were true, I really do. I am all about positivity, but I’m here to tell you positive statements and “thank you’s” alone won’t work. Why? Because BELIEF and PRACTICE triumph over KNOWLEDGE every day of the week.

Lets start with BELIEF. If you don’t believe in a statement you make then it lacks the power to truly manifest. Jesus said, “Believe it has already been given”. That is what he said. It’s is in the Bible. Now whether you believe Jesus was God or not, does not matter. You may not even believe in spirituality, but I ask you this; when you hear that statement, “Believe it has already been given,” how do you feel?… Thats what I thought!

This is where the practice of GRATITUDE becomes the manifestation. As Eckhart Tolle wisely says, “Acknowledging the good you already have in your life will manifest more abundance”. So how do we PRACTICE it so that the belief and the feeling become a reality?

Although these steps seem self explanatory, many people are not experiencing the power of gratitude. These steps actually have a science to it. First we must cognitively understand what we choose to practice. Second, we must emotionally experience it through the senses. Third, we must physically do it every day. Simply recalling what we are grateful for will not have the manifestation power on its own.

  1. Upon rising, place your hand on your heart and recall 3 things you are grateful for in your life.
  2. Using your senses, bring the feeling of gratitude into your body and allow the experience to fully come alive in your mind.
  3. Keep a gratitude journal. Writing it down is a highly effective way that our brain transfers the experience and commits it to memory.
  4. Take mini moments throughout the day to be present. In those moments, acknowledge the beauty and good that is in every experience real time.

Using these 4 steps above each day will transform the way you experience life and create abundance. What do you have to lose ?

Gratitude is certainly an attitude. It also is fair to say that an “attitude of gratitude” does not come naturally to most of us. Personally, I grew up in a strong-minded, cynical Italian-American family that believed nothing came easy. While that can be true at times, I don’t ever remember hearing about gratitude other than in the prayer before meals, of which frankly the combination of abstract words did not connect for me to be thankful.

BEING in gratitude is the giving of attention briefly to appreciate and FEEL the beingness of anyone or anything. Ackowledging the beingness of everything for what it is and it’s existence…brings a feeling, and a belief that abundance surrounds you. Through this PRACTICE you will begin to experience more contentment, more good will surround you, prosperity will grow and you my friend, will become a manifestation machine!

We can be inspired by words but if we do not PRACTICE it, we cannot experience the power.
