Self Worth, Self Love

I stared at this view for the last three weeks while on the Island of Bimini Bahamas. A great place to pause and think. A connection to nature, to oneself, and to all things. When we take a moment to pause in peace, in the quiet, and in the stillness of your own soul, you see the beauty around you and within you. And, it’s not just the outside beauty that you see, but more of a knowing and recognizing the inner beauty that you’re not just a kind and compassionate person to others, but you allow yourself to be a kind and compassionate person to yourself, by recognizing and appreciating what makes you unique, and special.

Our self worth begins with this self love and the realization that we are enough, just as we are. A true believing that our uniqueness is what makes us special. Not defined by any outside source, like the fish who can’t climb a tree. Who we are, as we are — that is enough.
