I know this is not an easy job. What drives you?

Changing my family tree. As someone with no formal education, and who got passed public education by the skin of his teeth, I knew the odds were stacked against me. I became obsessed with providing my family the best opportunities and rising above any perceived shortcoming.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? What lesson did you learn from them?

There is an army of people who I credit to my success to. My wife Danielle who prefers to stay out of the public eye is my balancing act. She keeps me grounded and focused when I want to jump off of unknown cliffs.

How do you push through your worst times?

I have a close group of friends that have been monumental in my journey. People from various walks of life and backgrounds who if I asked would give me a vital organ in order to live. I am grateful for them.

I also have always surrounded myself with people I deem smarter than me. I always want to be “the dumbest person at the table”. Because of this, I have always looked for coaches and mentors to keep me sharp and accountable.
