I’m Beautiful.

When I was three years old, my mom came home to find me playing in her makeup. I had bright red lipstick on and foundation all over my face. My mom was confused. She asked, “Why are you playing in my makeup?” I said, “Mom, I don’t feel beautiful.”

This memory has followed me for years. I have dabbled in makeup for years. I was trying to find what would make me feel beautiful. I don’t know if I ever found it in makeup.

I found someone that tells me I’m beautiful everyday. I don’t need makeup. I don’t need to alter my personality. We can find our beauty in unexpected places.I’m Beautiful…
