Woman enjoying her womanity and her girl

When I was a little girl, I loved to dance and sing in front of the mirror. I was my own public, I would clap and smile to myself. I loved my performances.

I loved to play with my dolls, to skate, to ride my bike. I loved to wear my favorite clothes and look pretty.

My imagination would take me to magical places and castles; how I loved the beach! How I loved to make up stories. How I loved fairies!

Have you asked yourself… What did you love to do when you were little? Where would your imagination take you?

As time went by, I left some of these dreams and games behind. I bought the idea that I was not enough; not smart enough, not enough good. I didn’t see those veils that were covering my sight.

But, you know what? I see and feel the girl at the core of my being. And I want to leave behind the world of inhibitions and rules about how I should behave; what I should do or say, and what I should keep silent.

We come to this world as free beings. We are supposed to be nurtured by family, friends, and the people around us. Unfortunately, this is not always the case.

But time has come to throw away the veils; to be the beautiful girl who likes to sing and dance, and write stories. Being myself is no longer a vanity or an unreachable idea. It is my right. So each morning, when I look at the mirror, I see the girl that wears her favorite clothes and loves to look pretty.

Have you seen your girl closely?

She is brave and fearless. She is smart, curious, compassionate, loyal, and kind. At the same time, she is mischievous, he has a rebel heart that won’t allow being silenced again. She is worthy and more than enough for whatever she wants to do; she has so much to share. Whatever you want to give her, she deserves it.

Our girl is grateful and resilient; she is a leader and a mother. She sees opportunities instead of challenges. She loves to look pretty and wear her favorite clothes.

Breathe and let her out, invite her to participate, listen to her, feel her. Raise your voice to tell whatever you want, and also say NO as a complete sentence whenever you feel it.

We are all beautiful, smart women, leaders ready to walk together and build a new tomorrow for us, for our children, our families, and our communities.

Girl… Come out and play!
