During my own practice and from so many years, there had been a lot of talks on forgiving self and others. I know there would be lots of articles and forums discussing the importance of forgiveness.

However, today I am going to share some personalized experiences and how I have started to practice the art of forgiveness. Few years back for me forgiveness meant feeling sorry and saying “Sorry”.

However, ever since I have become a part of this light worker community and when I started healing my own self, I realized, it is just not about feeling sorry and saying it.

There are a lot of emotions which give rise to negative energies within us and then that energy becomes a source of fear or hatred.

Beware of these 2 and important words/feelings – “Fear & Hatred”.

The moment we encounter an unexpected person or situation, it gives rise to some expectations & when those expectations are not met, we feel uncontended and angry or sad and these kinds of feelings give rise to either fear or hatred.

Usually, we as only humans never realize, that everything in us and around us is energy, vibrations and sounds. Have you ever wondered why when a particular person comes and even if you are sad or dull, you just feel happy, excited and comfortable and you forget about your sad emotions. The presence of that particular person just makes you feel good and happy, right? And this could happen with someone you don’t feel connected with at all and just can’t bear his/her presence.

The reason why this happens is we all possess certain kind of energies, positive or negative. The more positive energy someone has, the more would be chances that he or she connects easily with other people and always win their hearts with the way of talking and interacting and with their presence in fact.

This happen the same with a person holding negative energies and nobody wants to interact much or even meet that person or they earn a tag of “Unlikable” sometimes.

We all possess and we emit or pass on energies to each other. That is why when a positive person comes and we receive the happy energies it creates a positive aura around that person and us and it just changes everything positive and vice versa in case of negative.

So, now you all must be waiting for the next step, how to overcome all this, right?

We will certainly discuss this now. As we live in a society where we have friends, family, relatives, colleagues etc. with whom no matter we like or not, have good connection or not, but we have to maintain certain relationships and live with that.

So, first, I personally recommend, start focusing on love, the loving energy around you and others. Love is not restricted to a boyfriend, husband or wife. It is a universal feeling and energy that every relationship despite of its nature and existence possess.

We must learn to love first our own self and then others. What we sometimes see is our own projection, what we think or communication in form of energies comes manifested in forms or karmas, situations, people, relationships etc.

There are few techniques we can start following to deal with negative emotions. Every light worker has their own experiences and findings and they recommend the best things to you.

The one I would personally prefer is “Ho’oponopono”. There are different ways by different light workers by which it can be practiced, however, the easiest one I came across and tried on myself also, I am going to share that one with you.

You might be struggling while trying to say its name let me make it simple (Ho-o-po-no-po-no), this is a Hawaiian practice of reconciliation & forgiveness. As it has passed from one generation to another and one continent to another and from several light workers, it can be practiced in many ways depends what has been recommended.

But, what I found more comfortable and happy with is the way I practice it. It is not at all necessary for you to be a light worker to practice this, but yes, it would be good if you start taking out some time daily for your own self and do some pranayama, meditate a little and then step into this.

There are many ways to do pranayama also or I should say working with your breath. Believe me it is not a rocket science as we all think.

I practice it during my meditation and it is really easy and the more you will incorporate in your life, you will start feeling contended, at peace with your own self and others.

Time does not matter, if you do not get time in the morning; practice this before sleeping but at least 1 hour after dinner.

1. Before starting this process, make sure you decide upon three important person’s names you want to practice this forgiveness and loving healing process.

2. The first would be the closest person from your family.
3. The second will be your closest friend and
4. Third, the person with whom you are having a difficult relation, time or issues, it can be your boss, a colleague or old friend, husband or enemy troubling you emotionally, mentally, situation wise or in any other manner.

Ok, so most of us breathe incorrectly, so first let’s see how to breathe.

Sit straight on a chair or lie down comfortably at a place where you are not disturbed. You can play soft meditation music in the background to help you ease and feel positive. You can also light your favorite oil in the oil burner or simply to cleanse the environment use camphor.

Now, before starting, close your eyes, pray to the divine, the God, to shine his holy light upon your house, your family and you like a cocoon and encase you all in his holy bubble of bright white light (you have to mentally visualize it). Pray to him to cleanse the surroundings and create a shield around you & the place you are meditating and protect from any kind of negative energies (these can distract you during your meditation, so very important to set your intention of protection).

Then, simply concentrate on your breathing. You have to breathe from your abdomen.

Like you fill air in a balloon, same way, breathe from nose and your stomach and abdomen should be filled with air and then hold the breath for 3-5 seconds and release it from your mouth. Repeat this at least thrice, this will help you relax and you will be able to get rid of all those noisy thoughts in your mind and heart and it will also help you in getting centered from within. Your breathing must be deep and comfortable. Feel that peace and stillness of mind from within during this process.

After this, with that background music already playing, you will be able to connect with your own self. Let go any complains, negative thoughts and feel that divine peace.

Once you are ready, start visualizing that you are standing in front of a full size mirror and you see your own self in that mirror.

Now say this to your own self and keep visualizing yourself in the mirror:

Say these loving comments mentally to self in the mirror:

Hello, I just want to tell you that I love you, I love you sincerely, if there is anything I have done to harm you in any way, knowingly or unknowingly, then I apologize for this. I am now walking on a new path, one, which is filled with love and light may we walk on this path with more love, light and unity.

Say bye to ourselves with a loving feeling and smile.

Now, when you feel ready, invite that most connected or loved and closest member of your family and visualize him/her in that mirror.

Now say mentally to the person whom you have visualized:

Hello, I just want to tell you that I love you, I love you sincerely, if there is anything I have done to harm you in any way, knowingly or unknowingly, then I apologize for this. I am now walking on a new path, one which is filled with truth, love and light. I am now also ready to forgive you, for anything you have done to me, knowingly or unknowingly, which has harmed me in anyway. May we continue to walk forward together on our path lines with much love and unity and May we both be happy in our life.

Now, when you feel ready, invite that most connected or loved and closest friend you have and visualize him/her in that mirror.

Now say mentally to the person whom you have visualized:

Hello, I just want to tell you that I love you, I love you sincerely, if there is anything I had done to harm you in any way, knowingly or unknowingly, then I apologize for this. I am now walking on a new path, one which is filled with truth, love and light. I am now also ready to forgive you, for anything you had done to me, knowingly or unknowingly, which has harmed me in anyway. May we continue to walk forward together on our path lines with much love and unity and May we both be happy in our life.

Now, when you feel ready, invite that person with whom you have difficult feelings or situation or is your enemy and visualize him/her in that mirror.

Now say mentally to the person whom you have visualized:

Hello, I just want to tell you that I love you, I love you sincerely, if there is anything I had done to harm you in any way, knowingly or unknowingly, then I apologize for this. I am now walking on a new path, one which is filled with truth, love and light. I am now also ready to forgive you, for anything you had done to me, knowingly or unknowingly, which has harmed me in anyway. May we continue to walk forward together on our path lines with much love and unity and May we both be happy in our life.

Now be in that state and notice how you are feeling – loved, sad, frustrated, relaxed etc. allow yourself to be in that state for few mins and free yourself from those hard feelings and burdens and then allow yourself to gently come back to your physical being and then come back gently, lovingly, happily in the state of conscious. When you are ready slowly open your eyes.

Enjoy now the new realization and feeling of joy and happiness, relaxation, freedom from all those heavy emotions and love within….

Note: Saying I love you, here to the visualized people, is a way of sending and receiving loving energy between you and them only, to make peace with them. Regular practice will show you such unexpected results from the other side and you will notice a positive change in your own self also, and you will love doing it for your lifetime.
