Veronika Abrams is a multi-passionate entrepreneur with a background in bio and genetics who’s based out of Toronto, Canada.
She runs a design and renovation company and is also a confidence life coach. Her transition into life coaching was motivated by her transformational journey three years ago.
After overcoming depression, anxiety, alcohol, and drug addiction, as well as a broken heart, Veronika has committed to helping women rebuild their identity and self-esteem.
She believes in the power of compassion and consistency – that lasting transformations happen holistically, caring for the heart, mind, and body.
Overcoming challenges
Veronica struggled with depression and addiction three years ago. Because of this, she suffered from low self-esteem and had an extreme lack of confidence.
After a while, she understood that to regain confidence in herself, she would have to keep to commitments and promises she made to herself.
She started by scheduling a particular period of the day to complete specific tasks she set out to do.
Simple tasks like running the stairwell in her building helped a lot.
This became the outward action of follow-through that gave me the outward proof I needed to achieve my goals. It became the catalyst that transformed my life.”- Veronika.
Free time
Veronika loves cooking. It’s a space where she can create and experiment. She enjoys dancing, and she’s learning how to shuffle to house music; after this, she’ll venture into salsa.
I love to cook. It is a space where I can create and experiment. I also enjoy dancing, and I’m currently learning how to shuffle to house music! Next is salsa dancing.
Veronika also spends quality time reading books, her favorite books are The Universe Has Your Back by Gabby Bernstein, Can’t Make This Shit Up by Kevin Hart, and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
Veronika and I sat down to discuss how her philosophy changed her life, and how it could change yours, too:
Me – How do you help women build confidence?
Veronika; I take my clients through a curriculum that helps them gain clarity on their values, their passion, and how to develop mindsets that support their vision for their significant and limitless life.
I stay by their side throughout the journey by helping them create action plans to achieve their goals and gain accountability for follow-through.
Me – What words of advice would you like to share with women who are finding it hard to cope with the circumstances around them.
Veronika; Three aspects of life need to be in alignment to achieve and manifest the life that you want;
1. Fully understanding your values.
2. Having beliefs that align with those values
3. An environment that supports your vision for your life. You don’t have to tackle everything at once.
Identify what aspects are not in alignment with the life you want, and focus on improvement in one aspect.
Maybe it’s the friends you have. Perhaps it’s one specific mindset. It can be overwhelming when we see everything that needs to be done, but you need to understand that some progress is still progress and be proud of yourself for the small wins.
Those small wins will help in creating forward momentum in your life and consistent breakthroughs.
