Q1 What is the most valuable career advice you can give to people just starting out?

I would first ask them to find their purpose. Sometimes we get so caught up with what everyone is doing we forget what we want to do. Until we realize our purpose we won’t be living the best life we can live.

Q2 What is the biggest challenge facing leaders today?

Keeping up with the ever changing and progressive markets which challenge leaders to continually grow and understand new technologies and advancements occurring daily.

Q3 How do you ensure your organization and its activities are aligned with your “core values”?

We make sure we give it our best effort and never back down from any challenge. We are a very team oriented company and motivate everyone to play their role to the best of their ability.

Q4 Where do the great ideas come from in your organization? Do you encourage junior members to be creative and share business ideas with senior management?

Yes, great ideas come from environments which nurture creativity instead of boring repetitive processes. I always encourage all members of the company to share their view point and any ideas they might have to achieve our goals. I believe if we don’t bring multiple viewpoints to the table then we will all go blind.

Q5 Can you name a person who has had a tremendous impact on you as a leader? Maybe some one who has been a mentor to you? Why and how did this person impact your life?

Can’t say that there was just one person who has had an impact on me. I would say how ever that many people from all walks of life have impacted me in various ways and provided me with lessons and new ways of thinking. They all helped me to understand different aspects of winning and losing and how to keep moving forward in the face of adversity.

Q6 Tell me about a time you struggled with work-life balance. How did you solve the problem?

I was always focused on the business, with a passion. But I completely overlooked other aspects of my life and forgot to spend time away from my business. I solved the problem by putting life before business and it helped me relax and work more efficiently.

Q7 Have you made unpopular decisions like firing employees and reducing compensation levels? What do you do to keep employee motivation enact after such actions?

I have never fired an employee, but in the situation an unpopular decision was made I let them know the reason and how it is for the better in the long run for the company and the team.

Q8 As leaders do you create work environments that are more competitive or collaborative in nature?

I create a collaborative environment. We are all working towards a common goal so it helps when everyone has the best interests of each other and the company, when working.

Q9 How do you get buy in from senior management and board on your business ideas?

I pitch to them with a vision and make sure they understand the impact the idea will have and the potential growth factor it brings to the business.

Q10 How to increase employee productivity? Do you invest in their wellbeing?

Increasing employee productivity would be best
done through positivity and motivation. Allowing them to learn and grow from
their mistakes instead of blaming and firing them is the best way to give them
confidence. I do generally take time with them, making sure they are doing fine
and also throw events to bring everyone together to celebrate their progress as
a team in the company.
