Let everything slow down.
Look at people around you.
You see them at work, walking or sat down.
You see as they are dressed, what kind of car they drive or how they behave.
We do not see their sources of joy, past hurts and wounds.
We do not see their loneliness, insecurities nor worries.
What can we give to others then?
Slow down a little.
Really see the other person.
Recognize others with a compassionate heart.
Give a smile.
Lend a hand.
Listen.
Look into their eyes softly.
We all need to be seen.
Accepted.
As we are.
Human connection with compassion is the most valuable gift we can give to one another.
