A children came to us and asked: “Why is volcano happened? Is it something bad? How does it form?”

? A volcano is a rupture in the crust of a planetary-mass object, such as Earth, that allows hot lava, volcanic ash, and gases to escape from a magma chamber below the surface.

? Children in this country (Malaysia) are fortunate enough not to experience volcano eruption, our center brought 1 step further to allow the future “Makers” get to imagine how a volcano actually happens, and the impact of the climate change. We brought the children minds to Paleontologists, cultivating the children interest into field of Paleontological research (where the record study of life on Earth left as fossils is made interesting). Paleontologists reconstruct early communities and their environments and try to understand the changes that have led to those of the present day and hope to apply learning and conclusions in the modern world, includes working out the relationships between extinct animals and plants and their living relatives.

With the objective for children to mold their own volcano according to their imagination, based on the blockbusters Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, we delved into aspects of the movies to teach science, we created an educational companion to the movies J.

Our “Jurassic World” Holiday Programs was specially designed with STEAM education – i) scientific information, ii) experiential learning and iii) hands-on activities into 3 exciting days (2 days of indoor workshops + a 1-day field trip). All children need to do is show up with a curious mind and eagerness to learn – hands-on in building + making their moving hybrid dinosaur robot – complete with colour-altering LEDs.

? Day#1: Indoor Workshop – All children got to experience the job as a paleontologist in Day1, they reconstructed dinosaurs and their environments and try to understand the changes that have led to those of the present day and hope to apply learning and conclusions in the modern world. Day1 included Biology lessons where science concepts is worked out to understand the relationships between extinct animals. Makers learned how dinosaur bones are identified and dug up by trying your hand at our fossil excavation site! Makers build their own volcano too.

? Day#2: Field Trip – Taking learning out of the classroom. We got up close and personal with dinosaurs in a real dinosaur (indoor) theme park. We teamed up with Jurassica, a dinosaur centre to give the children a real prehistoric experience. Makers get to visit a mini museum too.

? Day#3: Indoor Workshop – Be part of the team at In-Gen that engineers new dinosaurs. Makers build their very own take-home hybrid dinosaur, a wireless hybrid dinosaur robot complete with color-altering LEDs!)

Is the T Rex (Tyrannosaurus Rex) the strongest dinosaur in the world? Do you know the recent Indominus Rex was the latest attraction in Jurassic World. The hybrid was created by combining the genetic traits of multiple species. In our education program, our Makers Team engineered a new dinosaur – a wireless hybrid dinosaur robot. It’s our interest to make SCIENCE interesting, TECHNOLOGY appealing, ENGINEERING fascinating, design thinking in ART and MATHS application lively and dynamic in our STEAM education.
