IT’S OKAY NOT TO BE OKAY
World Mental Health Day is every day. It’s not just October 10th each year. Take care of yourself. Do what you need to do for you. And help end the stigma surrounding mental illness.
It’s okay to talk about it. It’s okay to sit with sadness. Let that sink in. You can sit with your pain and think to yourself: this emotion that I’m feeling right now is not going to kill me. It’s simply not. Give yourself grace. Give yourself time to feel your feelings, whatever those may be. It’s a part of your story, and it’s a part of growing. Never be ashamed to reach out. There are so many resources these days at the touch of a button. Here are a few tried and true resources from us to you for if you need to reach out.
