Love is an indescribable word. We all know what love isn’t. But do we actually know what love is? Love is something that doesn’t exist in any way other than to accept. Accept everything as it is, everyone as they are and accept all is what it is without trying to change anyone or anything. Love is kind. Love is gentle. Love is the part of a person that has to begin with themselves before it can attach itself to another and as a result of being able to love oneself, it is possible to let another in to love them. Love is non judgmental. Love is pure. Love is the warm snuggly feeling when your feline friend curls up on your lap and goes to sleep. Love is the sun as it kisses your cheek and the rain as it trickles down your face. Love is the umbrella we share when it’s cold and wet outside. Love is when the sun meets the moon and they both occupy a part of the sky at the same time. Neither trying to dull the other, just co existing. Love is the flower as it breaks through the bud and blooms in all its glory only to be picked by a passer by and given as a token of his /her love to another. Love is the stars in the night sky, neither of them trying to outshine another, just twinkling in their own little piece of heaven. Love is the sound of your baby‘s first words when he/she is trying to talk and all they can say is goo and ga! Love is the sound of the rain on a tin roof when you’re tucked up in bed and wrapped in the arms of the one you adore. Love is so many things to many people … we all know what love isn’t.
