If music notes were flowers, what type would they be?                                                       What scent would be of their perfume?                                                                                  The number of bees, beseeching, thee

If music grew in Gardens, what blossoms would come into bloom?                                   How intricate the sound of their petals,                                                                               when watered with love’s nectar, a loom

If cadences would delight us,                                                                                                              coloring the soils in June

What would be their whispers,                                                                                                           lighting quiet Spirits. . .                                                                                                                   of darkened rooms

For many years, the Downtown campus, of AUC’s Garden has planted seedlings in music’s bloom.  Her vibrations, and liquid velvet, titillates the seeds and roots for natures’ delight.

Every Tuesday, from 7:30-10:00 pm, the watering of music begins. Surrounded by sculptures of nature’s pride, the heavens honor angelic voices, who clean Earthly skies.  Purifying the land from the toxins of doubtful sound.  Leaving the freshness of sweetened perfumes to placate the joyfulness of smell.

Music is nature’s own medicine.  Her natural way of bringing pleasure, excitement, and mystery to her infinite Being.  Music waters, and reveals, hidden coloration of Gardens.  Invisible patterns and designs, showcasing life’s secrets.  Like an unseen layer of velvet, she covers these jewels; caressing them-all the while providing tender affection to their deepened wounds, and broken hearts

This is the gift and restoration of the Cairo Chorale Society. Their weekly ritual of painting Gardens. . .at least the one, which brings heaven and calm to the carnival of the urban sector.

Each rehearsal, when the land finds comfort in darkness’ desire to awaken, a different story is told.  Spirits of varying nations bring forth their daily journey, when entering the spacing.  Transforming Ewart Hall into a musical temple, they embody the magic of creating purpose, through energy. Of moving blessings into spaces, having only been recognized when needed for the extravagance of ego and validation. Intimacies, and the sacred mastery of their existence, go unnoticed.

Yet, on a special day, when they come to play, an authentic honor of her worth. . .is restored.  Her acoustics are kind reflections of the Spirit, within.

As the notes dance across myriad vocals, one can envision the lighting of blues, reds, greens, purples, and in-between.  Sending sparks of buoyancy throughout the tapestries.  The magician waves his wand, bringing different sparkles into the honing of one voice.  Magicians of musical decor have great responsibilities in spreading music’s Spiritual nature.  Exerting abundant energy sources, they partake in a personal journey for their Spiritual growth.

For, in each assignment, ordained to them by the heavens, they must grapple with perfecting. . .imperfections.  Experimenting with new ways to enrich the music, they return to the source of knowledge. . .gardens.  Sitting in illusions of stillness, how important it is to quiet the mind.  Sinking in the marriage between reality and fiction.

Because such is the persona of Gardens. . .

When the path towards unifying musicality arises frustration, its time to plant the music in Gardens.  After all, such is where the final performance, and praise of the heavens, will be.

A Garden without her music, is suspect.  Questions of her authenticity come into play.  Without her sound, what knowledge can truly be birthed from her?

And so, the Cairo Chorale Society is the haven, which ensures that the Downtown Garden, will always keep her knowledge-base.  That this, temple space, will always be watered.

As the journey continues, the path towards vocal perfection of heaven’s domain, sings forward.  Intonation, rhythm, beat, and tonality, are the primary colors for propelling Haydn’s masterpiece into Universal domain. Creativity will be the elixir into perfection.

Movement will be her instrument.

Different voices for myriad stars, all on a mission to reach heaven’s sound.  The work continues.  Each rehearsal, brings the tonality of intonation, evermore.  Whispering to garden’s fruition. . .for their yearning to be re-born.
