Dreams for 2020

I have a dream; a dream to reach for the stars and bring them closer to humanity.

I have a dream that once I live my purpose, I am free to live my highest and truest expression.

I have a dream that once I chose to do what’s difficult, life will become easy.

I have a dream to build something greater than myself.

I have a dream to create a better reality for humanity.

A dream where emotions become navigators for living life at its essence without shame nor guilt.

A dream where authenticity is rewarded with recognition and incentive.

A dream where no matter your skin color, your beliefs, your opinions, and your appearance; you still belong and you feel accepted.

A dream where my son no longer is teased at school because his mother is white and his father is black.

A dream where people at work feel safe to work without judgment, harassment and patronizing behaviors.

A dream where women no longer have to apologize for being feminine while breaking brick ceilings to demand what is only fair.

A dream where men no longer feel defensive when women demand equality, dignity, and acceptance.

A dream where young girls no longer hide behind the screens of addiction trying to be someone they are not.

A dream where boys get to feel their emotions without being imposed an outdated idea of masculinity.

A dream where mothers go to work without guilt and shame for leaving their children behind as they embrace new ways of living.

A dream where fathers can take parental leave to take care of their newborn without shame, blame, and restrictions.

A dream where diversity has become obsolete as inclusion is the new norm.

A dream where wearing a mask at work becomes a choice and not an obligation.

A dream where we stop advancing our self-interest at the expense of others.

A dream where win-win situations prevail over zero-sum games.

A dream where we stop fearing change and embrace the opportunities that come along with it.

A dream where seeing our glass half full instead of half empty is a given.

A dream where we feel grounded in an age of disruption.

A dream where honesty and integrity are at the heart of social relations.

A dream where we live from a place of abundance instead of scarcity.

A dream where we invest in our character instead of our appearance.

A dream where we contain our ego and unleash our soul.

That’s is my dream for the next decade and beyond.

What is your dream?

I write about emotions and feelings, you know those things that make a lot of people uncomfortable in the digital age.
