Addressing your anti-goals can help you defeat distractions and realize ambitions.

  1. Plan Leisure Time Vs. Work Time

  1. Get off the internet

It’s important to take a break. But unscheduled breaks can interfere with your work. If your work demand that you keep your internet active, you can limit yourself to specific websites by using internet blocking software such as Freedom. It is a great tool that can keep you away from distractive websites and apps whenever you want.

  1. Quit tapping on your phone often

A phone can be an enemy of productivity. Switch off it or turn it on silent mode when working. This way you will not get distracted by notification for every message that come through. You can also put your devices in a different room where it’s harder to access them – out of sight, out of mind.

  1. Set time to disconnect

This can be referred to as self-reflection time. Block time so that You spend time with Yourself. Reflection can be a perfect way to evaluate the decisions you’ve made in the past. Taking time to question your actions and decisions will help you obtain a better understanding of your strengths, weaknesses, and emotions.

While technology is undeniably great, it can make you its own slave. Do not allow this happen to you. Seize the moment. Use technology to boost your productivity and you will enjoy a better life.
