Two worlds exist inside you — FINITE & INFINITE. Infinite World is limitless, passionate, enthusiastic, forever young, energetic, full of life, creativity and has immense potential to conquer anything in the world. Whereas Finite world is fearful, dark, inefficient, lazy, insecure, in-confident, hesitant and shaky.
If given a choice, which world would you choose to live in. Of course, INFINITE WORLD, right? But most people on the contrary, live in Finite world. Because they are afraid to chose the path of unknown, of being judged, of failure, of people around them but more importantly they are afraid of themselves.
Wouldn’t it be great, if we live in Infinite World to pursue our ambitions of life. Great visionaries like Martin Luther King Jr., Henry Ford, Thomas Alva Edison, The Wright brothers and many more lived in Infinite world. They challenged status quo. They listened to the voice inside them without any prejudice.
Martin Luther King Jr. challenged the current system and fought for the equal rights in America. He visioned and trusted the power of Infinite world inside him, his historic speech “I have a dream” pushes all the boundaries and demands equal rights with full conviction. He ends his speech in the following words sharing his infinite world with others.
“When we allow freedom to ring-when we let it ring from every city and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, “Free at last, Free at last, Great God almighty, We are free at last.”
It was his trust and conviction in the power of infinite that he was able to pull through a revolution. More than 200,000 people gathered at the historic March on Washington which included not only black community but whites as well. This is called Power of Infinite World.
Henry Ford revolutionized the automobile industry by making affordable car for middle class Americans. Initially, automobile was a toy for rich. Henry Ford visioned it through his infinite world that he can produce economical car for middle class Americans. He trusted the power of infinite mind and revolutionized the entire automobile Industry. He transformed the way people commuted. He gave freedom to people to travel anywhere at their own leisure.
“Whether you think you can, you think you can’t, you’re right.” — Henry Ford
Thomas Alva Edison was one of the greatest inventor. He practically ventured into everything which seemed impossible to the world and invented many inventions to name a few like light bulb, phonograph, motion picture camera and many more. He lived in the infinite world, nothing was finite to him. He executed his ideas into realities. What others perceived as failure, Edison viewed them as important steps to reach the ultimate goal. Because in infinite world there are no failure, just lessons to be learned.
“I haven’t failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” — Thomas Alva Edison.
The Wright brothers (Orville and Wilbur) dreamed of flying.Their dream was one beyond themselves, and beyond their experience, yet they poured themselves into its fulfillment believing that one day their dream will become reality. Although lot of critics criticized them, they didn’t had enough resources, but they continued with their dream until it became reality. The power of infinite world within them kept them motivated, even after numerous failure they continued and eventually succeeded. This is the power of infinite world, it has no boundaries and sky’s the limit.
“If we all worked on the assumption that what is accepted as true is really true, there would be little hope of advance.” — Orville Wright
“It is possible to fly without motors, but not without knowledge and skill.”
— Wilbur Wright
All of them had one similarity, they didn’t care about outside forces. They lived in their infinite world, which never stopped them or questioned them. They did what they wanted to do, they didn’t care whether external world has defined their goals as impossible or difficult to achieve. Inventions or Innovation doesn’t happen with closed mind attitude. When you do not categorize your goals or ambitions as possible or impossible, you achieve what you want to achieve.
You are navigated to the path of creating history. And it takes lot of effort and perseverance to make history. Nothing in life comes easy. It’s your will power and tireless effort which will guide you to the path of unimaginable. Don’t stop yourself, think BIG, think IMPOSSIBLE, think STUPID, think INCONCEIVABLE, think POSITIVE, think EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
Every invention we see today was once an idea in the mind of some person. They believed that they can do it. They lived with their dream in the infinite world.
