I liked Peace Hyde long before my topical interview with her on twitter yesterday, Thursday, July 6th, 2017. Her personality and ideology is quite fascinating, welcoming and most of all inspiring. Having her on HotTalkWithBlecyn has been a long time coming and I am super grateful for the topic she chose to speak on.

BGM: In your own words, how would you define peer pressure and what should the audience hold dear about Peer Pressure? @peac_hy
PH: When people try to influence how an individual acts is called peer pressure. It’s something everyone has to deal with – even adults!
In life staying true to your morals and values should ALWAYS be your main priority. FOCUS on being the best YOU! That’s what counts!..
BGM: What aspect of life is the phrase “Growth and Self Development” in our topic focusing on? @peac_hy
PH: It can affect numerous areas and stages of your life including your schooling, professional or even personal life!.
BGM: Would you say an Individual’s growth and self-development reflects in his/her financial status? if YES, explain? @peac_hy
PH: No I don’t think it does @HotTalkWithB. Growth is something that occurs when we work on ourselves to achieve our fullest potential!
BGM: What would you say is the power of positive peer pressure? How does it help an individual’s self-development? @peac_hy
PH: That is when it causes us to do an activity for the greater good of a community or a group of people.
BGM: Does an individual’s peer group success necessarily translate to his/her growth/self-development? @peac_hy
PH: This doesn’t necessarily translate, but it motivates you to strive to achieve the same level of success!
BGM: In your opinion, how would an individual identify when he/she is moving with the right peer group? @peac_hy
PH: The right peer group will align you with & improve your vision & purpose in life! The wrong one will distract you from your goals!.
BGM: What are the harms of peer pressure in an individual’s growth & self-development and how can one avoid this? @peac_hy
PH: Following others can stop & delay your progress in life! When you notice your becoming distracted from your goals assess your circle!
BGM: Personally, how has peer pressure helped you in life and also in your career pursuit? @peac_hy
PH: I have been blessed to be surrounded by amazing #Faithbuilders who constantly support, motivate and encourage me to keep going!
BGM: At what point in your life, especially your career did peer pressure positively help speed up your growth/Self-Development @peac_hy
PH: Sometimes observing how peer pressure negatively impacted someone’s life was enough 2 encourage me to stay focused on my own path and goals!
BGM: Have you ever encountered the harms of peer pressure, if Yes, at what point in life & how did you overcome it? @peac_hy
PH: I like to stay focused & surround myself with people who are have the same goals/ more advanced than myself so I am blessed to not have encountered the harms of PP

Peace Hyde: I have had challenging days as a broadcaster. My worst day is the June 3rd floods in 2015 Ghana when I was badly injured @HotTalkWithB..
Blecyn George Monsi: If for some reason you weren’t a media personality, what other career do you fancy and sort of have interest in? @peac_hy
Peace Hyde:I loved teaching it was a fulfilling stage in my life so if I had to choose a career I would be a Chemistry & Biology teacher again!
