Jeff Shuford, the co-founder of Invest In Veterans and Tech From Vets, has been selected as a founding member of the Jacksonville Business Journal Leadership Trust, an exclusive community for prominent business leaders, executives, and entrepreneurs.

Shuford was chosen for membership by the Jacksonville Business Journal Leadership Trust Selection Committee due to his expertise, leadership, and influence in the local business landscape and beyond. Shuford is a former TEDx speaker and a decorated combat veteran. Shuford became a nationally syndicated columnist at age 30 making him one of the youngest nationally syndicated columnists in the country and one of the youngest African-American nationally syndicated columnists of all time. In his previous role with the American City Business Journals, Shuford’s monthly column appeared in more than 43 regional business newspapers. In his position with GateHouse Media, Shuford’s weekly column appears in 144 daily newspapers, 684 community publications, and over 569 local-market websites in 38 states making him one of the country’s most syndicated African-American columnists of all time.

As a founding member, Shuford will contribute articles to the Jacksonville Business Journal website and participate alongside fellow members in Expert Panels. He will connect and collaborate with a vetted network of local leaders in a members-only directory and a private forum on the group’s mobile app.
