“A sister is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit, a golden thread to the meaning of life.”~ Isadora James

I absolutely love sisterhood. I believe when women come together for a common goal, we become a force beyond reckoning. It is very disheartening to hear another woman say, “I don’t do women..” I believe that comes from a place of hurt because once you deal with the RIGHT women, it can be life changing as well as healing.

As you began to evolve, become comfortable with who you are, and began to walk it so will your circle of friends. Will you lose some that you thought were in for the long haul? Absolutely.. Will it hurt? ABSOLUTELY… Growth requires change and change doesn’t always feel good. Growth also requires a shedding of the old. Those who are meant for the journey will remain, not because of familiarity, but because they too have evolved and come into their own.

As I look around at my “sister circle” or “tribe”, I see a group of women that are rocking in their respective gift zones. They are fierce and ambitious. We talk not about the latest gossip but how we can help each other build. We talk not about problems but about solutions. We talk about how our individual expertise can benefit each others brand, or about when we are coming together to brainstorm on the next conference call, or to schedule time to come together in corporate prayer for our marriages, our families, our health, or our next business venture.

Those are benefits of having the RIGHT women in your corner and on your team.. Your TRIBE! I celebrate those women.. Women who do other women.. When we all can adopt that mindset, we can change the world!
