Believe in yourself and you’ll be amazed at what you can do;
You’ll then realize that the stories of being happy and alone are indeed magical and true!
It’s fine to go eat alone,shop alone or sit around doing nothing- all alone.
It’s fine to go swing in the park, all by yourself
and watch people as they go by- while smiling to yourself.
It’s fine to do things you always wanted,
even sitting under the star-lit sky and getting cozy with your blanket.
There’s absolutely nothing awkward in being happy all by yourself;
to smile and reach out to strangers, offering them help.
No harm in talking to the person sitting next to you on the train;
Who knows what friendships and adventures are awaiting your way?
The key, my friends, is to be happy and content.
Have confidence in yourself and you’ll never repent.
Have a smile on your face and patience of course;
Take your time but become good pals with yourself for sure!
People are great and so is everything around us.
You just need to realize you can experience the magic that surrounds us.
Alertness and conscientiousness are what you’ll always need;
after all, you are your own responsibility.
Develop the negatives into positives and focus on your goals.
Wait for no one if you really want to go;
people will join you if they really care or want to!
It’s great to have supportive family and friends,
and to have the assurance that you can fall back upon them.
But, don’t let their physical absence near you hold you back in any way,
or miss out on opportunities because you were too afraid to try.
Believe in yourself and you’ll be amazed at what you can do;
You’ll then realize that the stories of being happy and alone are indeed magical and true!
