The Creative Entrepreneur;
You see a solution to every problem.
Every pain you experience triggers yet another entrepreneurial project.
You have a million business ideas.
Your brain can’t stop buzzing!
You have more domains than anyone needs.
You just signed up for yet another course.
You are relentlessly curious and you are continuously learning.
But no one knows the truth you hide.
No one knows how lonely you are.
Because you live in a world where too many people follow the rules and you are not a rule follower.
You want to create your own rules;
But they don’t understand you.
You are supposed to be grateful, they say.
You say you’re grateful, but you want more.
You’re supposed to stay in that job you don’t like, they say;
You say you want to do something that excites you.
You are just being unrealistic, they say;
You say you’re not afraid to try new things.
But gradually, you start to become very lonely, unable to fit in anywhere.
So you stop talking to just anyone but those who seem to understand you and how you feel through the books they write.
Gradually, you start to find comfort in books.
You start searching and looking for someone somewhere who will understand you and how you want to live your life.
You start finding solace in online communities.
And then, suddenly, you seem to find your tribe in some corner of the world.
You seem to find some people that finally get you.
You are not unrealistic after all.
Neither are you ungrateful.
But you are finally listening to the voice inside you that has always nudged you to become more.
The voice inside you that has always spoken but has rarely been listened to.
The voice that finally screamed at you that you could no longer ignore.
So you listen.
You listen to what it has been telling you all the while, but you have been too afraid to accept.
The voice telling you to stop forcing yourself to be like them;
To stop forcing yourself to be like most people;
Because you are not most people. You are You and finally, you accept that.
And you surrender to the voice begging you to trust yourself.
To trust yourself and move away from them that keep telling you your dreams are just dreams.
To move away from them, that keep telling you your dreams are only a figment of your imagination never to be realised.
So you continue to move away before you start believing them and what they say to you.
And then you learn to be still again. To listen to the voice telling you to get up again.
To go find your home, a place where you can truly flourish. Your home in any corner of the world where your people live.
Where you can finally and truly be You.
The You that is emerging;
The You that is evolving;
The You that needs to be released;
The You that is capable of becoming so much more;
The You that refuses to be reasonable;
The You that wants to be let out untamed;
The You, they don’t get;
The You, you now understand that they may never get. But you get it. You finally really truly get it and that is all that matters.
And now, you are ready. Ready to let her fly.
So you start to run away from them, even further away from them.
And so you find your tribe.
The tribe that cheers you on, the tribe that get it, the tribe that get You.
The tribe that knows what you are capable of becoming.
The tribe that wants to lift you so you can fly.
The tribe that live in that corner of the world where dreams do come true,
Where you find the love, belonging and acceptance you always knew existed but never experienced;
Suddenly… it all makes sense.
And you’re not so lonely anymore.
You are not lonely at all.
You have found your home.
A happy place where you truly belong.
A home you’ve always belonged but had to work so hard to find.
