Therefore, after eating a plate that consists of a high portion of unhealthy carbs, one may still feel hungry since their body has not yet broken it down. When one is considering to take out carbs from their diet, they should really refer to just cutting some out, like white bread, in order to have a sense of physical well-being. Bacon and Egg Muffins
Yum! Muffins without a high amount of carbs? How? Just preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. While oven is preheating, cook spinach for only about a minute, turn off the heat. In the same skillet that the spinach was cooked, add bacon and your choice of herbs. Mix. In a separate bowl, whisk 10 eggs together with salt and pepper, along with garlic powder. Place the spinach mix evenly in each muffin cup of a muffin cup pan. Then, the whisked eggs should be poured evenly over each muffin cup with the spinach mix. Bake the muffins for about 20 minutes.
Cilantro and Lime Chicken Lettuce Wraps
Rather than using tortilla wraps, replace them with lettuce wraps. Go on to cook the chicken and season with lime and cilantro. If you are not a fan of cilantro or lime, you can obviously go on to change the seasoning to your preference (just make sure it does not consist of high carbohydrates). When the chicken is cooked, assemble your wraps. Lay out the lettuce to fill them with chicken. You can add slices of avocado and a bit of sour cream to really give you a burst of flavor!
Portobello Pizza Stuffed Mushrooms
Craving Pizza, but trying to cut the carbs? Here is a great recipe to help the craving! Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Place parchment paper over a baking sheet and spray olive oil over the paper to prevent the food from sticking. Remove all of the inside of the mushroom, or the gills, with a spoon. Face the mushroom’s “head” down so that it looks like a mini bowl to fill. Fill the inside of each mushroom with 2 tablespoons of marinara sauce. Make sure the marinara sauce is low in sugar and not added with any. Then, go on to sprinkle each with 2 tablespoons of mozzarella cheese and 4 pieces of pepperoni. If you do not like pepperoni, feel free to remove it.

It is normal to overwhelmed in the beginning, our bodies sometimes don’t deal well with change. However, just try to think of the results and feeling of well-being and healthiness.
