With a background highlighted by being awarded the Best Make-Up Artist in Australia, being recognized in her early 20’s as one of Europe’s top 10 hairdressers, it is no wonder why Eva Bergstrom is now one of the most successful operators world-wide in the health and anti-aging industry.
Eva was raised in a well-to-do family, and although that was ideal, it is not to take credit for the drive she possesses and the success she has earned in her journey thus far. In fact, her ambition started as young as 12 years old; when her mom refused to buy Eva a pair of high heeled shoes because she was “too young to wear them”, Eva got a job babysitting on the weekends to purchase them for herself. It was then that she realized that you must choose what you want, decide to do it, visualize, and then take massive action to obtain your success.
By the age of 17, Eva had started her own business, and was the owner and operator of her very own salon in Sydney, the Eva Bergstrom Steiner Salon. She was thriving in business and happy as can be with the man of her dreams, it seemed as though life couldn’t get any better. Her story, though, took a heartbreaking twist, and before she knew it, her whole world changed. Just days before the wedding, her fiancé had unexpectedly passed away, sending Eva into the ultimate shock.
After weeks of paralyzing grief, Eva knew she had to move forward, and the only way she could bring herself to do that is to leave everything she knew behind – her home, her salon, her life – and remove herself from society entirely. Eva pursued Vipassana mediation for 2 years and was almost convinced she should live the rest of her life as a Buddhist nun until she stumbled upon medical herbalist as to get insight as to why her fiancé had passed away so suddenly. Not long after that she found Falun Gong exercises and studied Falun Dafa philosophy, which she practiced diligently for years, and recently fell in love at the Isha Yoga Centre in India at a leadership course and met Sadhguru personally. Not long after, Eva actually qualified as a medical herbalist herself, which led to many other opportunities that she hadn’t expected.
She pursued a job as a freelance make-up artist, where she excelled beyond her wildest expectations. In just over 2 years, Evan won one the industry’s highest awards, and that was the turning point she needed. Soon after, she was THE make-up artist for a slew of celebrities, major feature films, some of the highest rated television shows, and it was while working for them that she came across Nucerity International (now merged with Ariix), where it became crystal clear that this was the path she was meant to pursue all along – one where she could fully utilize her entrepreneurial spirit, help others, and become financially free.
Eva believes that success is defined as reaching a point where one has complete freedom over every area of their life, indulging in the peace of mind when you are free to do what you want, when you want, while inspiring others with your actions. Although Eva deeply appreciates the success, accomplishments, and accolades she’s earned, the reason she does what she does is far bigger than acknowledgement. Ever since she was little, she’s cared for people and their wellbeing (just ask her mother about when she used to bring homeless people back to their house because it just didn’t seem right that anyone should go hungry). Despite that phase of her life being put to a halt, her tenacious and compassionate nature hasn’t. There is nothing more rewarding to Eva than showing people that the impossible IS possible, and that with a little bit of hard work and grit, you can become everything you’ve ever wanted to be, which is why she is a highly successful network marketer, too!
It wasn’t an easy journey for Eva to get where she is now, and she knows that there are bound to be bumps in the road moving forward, however, she understands that in order to overcome anything, you must take responsibility for everything.
